After San Diego our next stop was Yuma Arizona. Yuma gets a bad rap for being hot, but it really is a very unusual place. In the middle of the desert, the colorado flows through and a majority of the western us's crops are grown there.
A field being razed, Squirrelette is such a trooper and good at posing. She really just want's to get it over with, which makes for good pics. This shot was recently accepted into the student art show.
We took a trip to Salvation Mountain. It's a....colorful place.
Loved this guy. Super nice and chill, and a good singer to boot.
Seriously a crazy place.
She is her mother. Totes.
They hate pictures. But I love them.
I've known Amy for 18 years! This little girl has my heart, I've known her since she was in the womb. She is very much like her dad, kind, generous, and tries much too hard to be funny. :D
Salton Sea- Still gross.
Amy made me walk at dawn. It was worth it.
We went to a date farm, and had date shakes with Alena.
Smarty pants
What Yuma looks like
I was pretty entranced by these sand dunes! Imperial Sand Dunes California
A tiny church on our way out of town.
We stopped in Kingman for lunch with my pappy. He's doing really good, I'm very proud of him and all he's done for himself. I'm also very proud of my mother, she has come a long way as well. I didn't get to see her, she is in Texas at the moment.
